Who is Max?

Mighty Max is our precious miracle son. He has been through so much and is continuing to amaze dr’s at every visit!

A note from mommy: I was deathly ill when pregnant the second time. After several weeks of bedrest and hospital stays, my son was born at 33 weeks. I was “in and out” of consciousness for the next few days and it took 6 months to get my bp under control. At 3 weeks old Maddox contracted meningitis. (in the NICU) He survived and then seemed healthy until about 6 mo corrected age. He has been diagnosed with encephalomalacia (missing parts of the brain – about 75% gone), epilepsy, hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy, hypertension, anemia, other things. We are aggressive with therapy and prayer. God can give him a whole new brain! We are believing for a miracle! He has CVI (legally blind) and had damage to both ears. He had 3 brain surgeries in October 2008.
